These privacy policies apply to provide protection to the User of the Internet site https://www.oer-steam.world/ , sponsored by the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, hereinafter "THE ITESM". The use or navigation by any person of the aforementioned Internet site grants the quality of User.

 

1. Type of information obtained.

 

The concept "personal data" in these policies refers to all information of a personal nature (such as name, date of birth, address or email) that can be used to identify the User.

 

This privacy policy protects all personal data that the user voluntarily enters on the Internet site that is the object of these policies, during the registration process and on any other occasion. 6. Modification / update / deletion of personal information.

 

The personal data provided by the User will be part of a file that will contain their profile. By accessing it, the User can modify / update them at any time. THE ITESM  advises the User to update their data each time they are modified, as this will allow them to provide a more personalized service.

 

When processing personal data, ITESM undertakes that our personnel and the mechanisms of the Internet site comply with the security and confidentiality standards necessary to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the information collected from users on the Internet site. To reduce the risks, ITESM recommends that the User log out of their account and close their browser window when they finish their activity, even more so if they share their computer with someone or use a computer in a public place such as a library or an Internet cafe.

 

8. Acceptance of Terms.

 

This confidentiality/privacy statement, which describes EL ITESM's Privacy Policy, constitutes a valid agreement between the User and EL ITESM; If the User uses the services of EL ITESM, it means that they have read, understood, accepted and consequently agreed with EL ITESM the terms set forth above. In case of not agreeing with them, the User must NOT provide any personal information, nor use this service or any information related to the Internet site.
